Stunning Glance

Spell Format:

Name: Stunning Glance
Magic Cost: 10
Requirements: For this spell to work there must be some sort of light (a candle’s flame, moonlight, etc) nearby for Osen to manipulate, she must also catch the glance of the person who she intends to use this spell upon.
Effects: With the spell “Stunning Glance” Osen is able to temporarily stun or blind a person by manipulating a nearby source of light to struck the pupils of her opponent, giving her a chance to run away or to hide or even to attack them, depending on the situation.
Disadvantages: Osen can only use this spell if she has a source of light, thus if that source of light were to die she could no longer use this spell, it is also weak against darkness. Osen can also only use this spell on one person at a time.
History: The spell “Stunning Glance” is taught to all children in the Nation of Light as it is fairly easy to learn and doesn’t take much energy to cast, it was developed a little over a century ago by one of the royal family’s Padawan guards. It was useful for recognisance missions or against a single opponent.
Osen was taught this spell by her father during the later years of her childhood and found it quite easy to learn.
